Sound
Stones The Wind - Stone Sound The wind sound of basalt is quiet, inobtrusive, goes somewhat inward, not always audible, not recallable. It is restraint, sudden turgescence, to again withdraw into the sound world of that which is for us inaudible. Sound needs its time, its moment, the mating with the wind. Sound needs the hearers, steping close, very close to eavesdrop. Someone who takes time and forgets his goals for the moment. The stones are trail companions, transforming with the appearances of nature, in the glint of rain's wetness and the colors of the sun's dryness, in the lightness and darkness of the day and seasons of the year and in the "Stone-Sound" of the wind.
